Join DCAMWMW in Changing Lives
The District of Columbia Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows will host its 74th Annual Session and Founder’s Day Weekend Celebration from Thursday, June 11 through Saturday, June 13, 2026. This year’s theme is “We Are a Remnant Chosen By Grace: Remaining Steadfast in Sisterhood and in Service” based on Romans 11:5-6 (MSG) and 1 Corinthians 15:58 (CSB), highlighting the faithfulness, grace, and commitment of women dedicated to God’s purpose and service.
Attendees will have opportunities throughout the weekend to support the DCA Scholarship Program through souvenir journal and paraphernalia purchases. Registration for the Annual Session is $75.00 and payments should be submitted via Zelle to treasurer@dcamwmw.org by Monday, May 25, 2026. Hotel reservations of 10 or more rooms may qualify for a group rate, while smaller reservations can be made directly through the hotel at 301-345-6700. Pre-Conference Virtual Workshop
The 74th District of Columbia Association of Ministers’ Wives and Ministers’ Widows Annual Session/Founder’s Weekend Celebration will begin with a Pre-Conference Virtual Workshop on Thursday, June 4, 2026, featuring the Local Presidents. This virtual experience will provide encouragement, inspiration, and fellowship as we prepare for the Annual Session celebration weekend.
Denim, Bubbles, Pearls, and Bling Pre-Celebration Event
DCAMWMW presents “Denim, Bubbles, Pearls, and Bling: An Interactive Time with the Sisterhood” on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 6:00 pm at the Club Wyndham National Harbor, 250 Mariner Passage, Oxon Hill, Maryland. Join the sisterhood for an evening filled with family, food, fun, and fellowship as we gather together in celebration prior to the official Annual Session weekend festivities.

Holy Communion Thursday Service
The Annual Session celebration weekend will continue with the Holy Communion Thursday Service on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 7:00 pm at St. Matthews Baptist Church, 2001 Brooks Drive, District Heights, Maryland 20747. This sacred worship experience will center around communion, reflection, and fellowship under the leadership of Reverend Peter R. Blue, Sr., Pastor, and First Lady Evelyn R. Blue. The service theme scripture is “Do this in remembrance of Me.” ~ Luke 22:19. All DCA husbands are in charge of the program. The Sisterhood is asked to wear white with kente cloth, and husbands are asked to wear a black suit, white shirt, and red tie.
